UNO Hockey freshman forward Taylor Ward earned Bauer NCHC Rookie of the Week Honors for the week of Jan. 28 - Feb. 3, 2019. Ward — part of UNO’s productive “MOW” line — had 1 goal and 3 assists in a weekend split against Western Michigan on Feb. 1-2 at Baxter Arena. Ward is currently fourth on the team in scoring (7 goals, 15 assists). In addition to the honor for Ward, senior forward Fredrik Olofsson was a nominee this week. Olofsson had 2 goals and 3 assists on the weekend. Overall, Olofsson leads the Mavs in points with 10 goals and 20 assists on the season.
