UNO Hockey sophomore forward Taylor Ward is featured as the #5 play in the “NCHC Top 5 Plays of the Week” (presented by TRIA Orthopaedic Center) for “Week 7” of the 2019-20 season. The goal — at the 19:26 mark of the 3rd period of UNO’s Nov. 15 game at Western Michigan — allowed the Mavs to narrow the Broncos’ two-goal lead in the closing moments of the game (UNO ultimately lost 3-2). Junior forward Kevin Conley was named “Forward of the Week” as part of the “Bauer NCHC Players of the Week” for Nov. 11-17, 2019. Conley tallied 3 goals and 1 assist in the Saturday game at Western Michigan to help the Mavericks secure their first NCHC win of the 2019-20 season.
