UNO Hockey freshman goalie Isaiah Saville is featured as the #1 play in the “NCHC Top 5 Plays of the Week” (presented by TRIA Orthopaedic Center) for “Week 11” of the 2019-20 season. Saville’s highlight-reel save in the Dec. 13 game at St. Cloud was one of the best we’ve seen from the talented freshman this season — and had fans buzzing on social media. Junior forward Martin Sundberg had a “career-best” weekend at St. Cloud State, racking up three points in a series split against the Huskies. Sundberg had the lone UNO goal in Friday’s loss at SCSU. The forward’s two assists on Saturday helped UNO secure a victory against St. Cloud — the team’s first win since Nov. 16. The goal — at the 19:26 mark of the 3rd period of UNO’s Nov. 15 game at Western Michigan — allowed the Mavs to narrow the Broncos’ two-goal lead in the closing moments of the game (UNO ultimately lost 3-2).
