A new season of UNO Hockey is upon us, and we’re back for the forth season of the Mavpuckcast! On the season debut, we talk about the upcoming schedule for the 2021-22 season, some of the protocols that will be in place for games at Baxter Arena this season, and talk about the recent elevation of Mike Kemp as Interim Athletic Director in the wake of Trev Alberts’s departure.
The University of Nebraska at Omaha Hockey program unveiled the 2021-22 schedule with a thread of fan videos on the university’s @OmahaHKY Twitter account. Each participant (including @MavPuck — see below) revealed each individual home and road series this season, and mentioned their favorite UNO Hockey memory. A big ‘thank you’ to the university for inviting us to participate.
