MavPuck.com’s Bridget Brooks was on hand to ask questions at and film the Jan. 7, 2026, Omaha Hockey midweek press conference at Baxter Arena. 

Omaha Hockey Head Coach Mike Gabinet and freshman forward Jeremy Loranger were on hand to answer questions from local media on topics including the team’s recent road series at Cornell and the team’s upcoming series against St. Cloud State at Baxter Arena. 

There were also a number of questions for Loranger about his adjustment to collegiate hockey and his impressions of the Mavericks this season.
