Omaha Hockey junior defenseman Jacob Guevin was named “Defenseman of the Week” in the KJ Branding NCHC Players of the Week: Nov. 18-24, 2024. 

Guevin had three assists during the weekend series against Miami (OH) at Baxter Arena on Nov. 22-23. He also had four shots on goal during the Saturday night contest. 

The Quebec native played well at both ends of the ice and had a +2 rating during the Miami series. 

This is the second time Guevin was honored by the NCHC as “Defenseman of the Week” this season. His previous appearance on the list was for his performance in the Ice Breaker Tournament in Las Vegas on Oct. 11-12. 

Guevin has 2 goals and 7 assists so far this season for UNO.
