I see Joaquim Lemay signed an NLI. That makes 9 D I think,  unless someone is leaving. That moves Pennington out, or maybe there’s more to it. Lemay will be 18 when he gets to campus. Québécois bloodlines...

9 D isn't as scary as it was a couple seasons ago. It appears Gabinet likes dressing 7 D each game (and I think it is the norm for most teams).

Something else to keep in mind: Omaha has been rather healthy this season. But we are one shot block away from a 'daily' injury, or even something longer term.

    Neutral Zone:

Zachary Michaelis (F, L, 6’0″, 207, Elk River HS, 05/30/2002, Nebraska Omaha) – Speaking of shooting, Zach has possibly the heaviest shot around the State. It just flies off his stick and seems to surprise or overpower goaltenders. That’s not it though, it’s extremely accurate. He blew a couple by the goaltenders tonight that made you look to the person next to you and say, wow that was different. His powerful skating ability allowed him to get to open areas and give him time to get shots to the net. He is one of the few players that can beat any goalie from the top of the circles.
