the one thing that we do need over the next year or two is the development or recruitment of some elite scoring. 18/19 was atrocious.

It matters not who scores, just that someone does. While an elite scorer -- someone who can reach 20 goals is nice, and can open space for others... I'd much rather see a balanced scoring attack. Make it so we are matchup nightmares for teams every shift.

Probably end up facing off against my boy Zach Goberis!

That's a random reference considering Goberis isn't on Manitoba's roster.

Looking at the Bison -- according to their official site -- they have turned over their ENTIRE roster. I don't suspect they will be putting up much of a fight.

Chris, when I speak of ‘elite scoring’, a balanced pressure attack is exactly what I have in mind. The Goberis comment was a throwaway funny. I gotta work on that ; )

I think Jordan is the guy who will see a Pope-Morelli type bump in scoring. But he is already a known quantity. Hoping Pulkkinen can get to 15 goals. And I think a healthy Weiss might be good for 15-20.

Any reports on if Keck has learned to score on breakaways?

I saw him practicing on a bubble hockey table this summer, still having trouble with hitting the goalie...

Speaking with 'The Rink' Gabinet mentioned 'duo' and 'both' in speaking about the goaltenders. Saville got a direct comment.

I suspect we will rotate goalies early -- especially if Saville gets named to the WJC roster.

The word was 'duo'... and Saville was specifically named. Read into it what you want.

I suspect the #3 guy redshirts like McLeod, Tebbs, and Haaland. That is the easy was to get away from 3 goalies in the same class.
