I’ll post more updates in here over the next couple of days about UNO’s recruiting. Nov. 14 was the first day recruI ting news is coming fast and furious.
In a quest to provide MP readers with more information on incoming players, I will write a profile for each new recruit (this week forward) who commits to UNO.
The latest profile is of forward Brock Bremer (verbal commit) of the Muskegon Lumberjacks (USHL): https://mavpuck.com/news/6910854
Earlier this week posted that Ryan Brushett (forward, Powell River Kings) committed to UNO, and we found out that he signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) during the current signing period (which started Nov. 14).

Gabinet & Co.'s work is not done yet.
There still has to be one more addition to the recruiting class - another goaltender. We graduate both Weninger and Blankenburg, but have only signed Saville - who looks like he could be a four-year starter.
We did 'lose' one goaltender from the recently-announced class. But that might be a blessing. For one, I'm not a fan of the cycle Miami had for years with two goalies in the same class.
Agreed... another goalie is needed, and it is very possible we’ll see some other additions next spring.
Depending on how this season goes, it might be like the “reboot” we saw in 2004-05, after the 8-win 03-04 season.
It will be interesting to see where that goalie comes from.
I'd hate to see us bring in another Tomek who might block Saville for more than a year.
Might have to make it clear to whoever the next goalie into town is, that he's likely to redshirt next year.
On Oct. 3rd I wrote a blog post speculating about where Gabinet’s future recruits would be mined from...
The graphic below shows UNO’s signees/commits so far this fall. It is interesting to see all those Canadian flags.
Can you break it down further by state/province? I think that's a detail being overlooked.
...I think you're going to see a growing number of quartered azure flags with fleurs de lis.
