The Quebec native is currently 6th in goals and 6th in points in the BCHL (Junior A Tier II hockey in Canada)
He has floated around juniors for awhile. He played one season in the USHL in 2015-16, and has played for three different BCHL teams the past three seasons.
Brushett will be 21 when he takes the ice for UNO. On the surface he seems similar to recruits we would see in Omaha in the early 2000s — less touted as a recruit, but an experienced player with ample junior hockey experience on his resume.
