    Any Intel on Jack Randl?

Of all the potential "COVID fifth year" seniors on this team, he is the one I'm the most interested in hearing about — since he led the team in point production this season.

In a recent "Meet The Mavs" feature on the UNO website, Randl said, "I'm not certain where my hockey journey will take me once I graduate, but I know I'll always have a special place in my heart for Omaha."

I'm not going to read too much into that (maybe he just meant "when my playing time is done at Omaha"), but it wouldn't surprise me if he is trying to figure out what his professional prospects are before he commits to anything at UNO next season (kind of like Tyler Weiss did last year).

Sullivan, Proctor, and Randl are all returning next season.

I'm going with this, from March 27:

Pavicich and Eisele look to be the early jewels of the goalies in the Portal.

I would say Eisele coming to Omaha opens the door for Jacob Zab to return. But I'm not sure why he would.

Also not sure Omaha should burn that roster spot for a fifth consecutive season.

I think the relationship with Zab was mutually beneficial, but I agree I don’t think giving up a roster spot is the best idea. I would much rather see one of our younger recruits come in. By the way, is there any information on coaches?
