Hello…
Where is Bridget?
Jason is optimistic. Not a bad thing to think someday it will happen. Focus on the progress.
Jon taking credit for Bridget’s work. Shame.
Why is Jon’s quality of video better than the NCHC.tv feed? Everyone’s cell phone footage is better than Omaha’s feed to the conference.
I’m not sure if Omaha were sluggish, as much as Alaska did a great job pressuring and clogging. UAF ran that same system last year, and we took a while to break it down.
Omaha have relied on the PP for a long time. Need more 5-on-5 goals – especially in games, like Friday, when the referees let the players play. A lot of physical play was let go early.
Weiss – like Ward – has great vision and hockey IQ… sometimes to a fault.
Post a link to the thread, Jon!
I didn’t give the celebration much thought. With the staggered bench, the natural momentum carried the players across to the Omaha bench.
Valid OT argument, Jason. But NCAA is still separate. Also… does the NHL need winners? Do they need 3-on-3?
Non-Friday and Saturday night games favor the road team. Easier to adjust the pre-game routine on the road than at home.
I can’t comment on Sunday – wasn’t there. Depending on Casey Roehl and his description was a fail.
Michigan… BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Correct. Minor penalty for charging. Based solely on the distance traveled to deliver the check. Players anymore don’t play with their heads up – not taught, anymore. Coaches teach players to draw penalties. It’s awful. Bad coaching begat bad hockey sense, bad skill, and bad players.
Any notes I can review on those UAF reviews?
Randl’s SHG – I heard the ringing of the pipe through the radio. It did not SOUND like a goal.
Having seen the GWG. I’m still debating if it hit Randl. Great look from your seat – better quality.
It all starts with Bohlsen. Something was said there, and that’s how the glove ended up on the ice. …it’s Mylymok. He put a shoulder into Bohlsen, and Bohlsen then didn’t let go of his hand.
Not a fan of AD or West getting involved. There were a few others – not administration – involved, too. But AD is the only one of the group with any authority.
I suspect UAF’s coach picked up a game misconduct for returning to the ice.
Coaches set the tone for their teams. If a coach is out of control, the players follow.
POtW: Randl… duh.
Bohlsen has some talent. It’s not showing up in stats. Is he the next Ryan Brushett?
Maybe sitting will do Bremer and Bohlsen some good. Spark them, knowing they can’t help. I’m thinking a big night from both Saturday.
The good news for Omaha – Weiss and Randl aren’t on the same ES lines. Going to make conference foes choose who they deploy the shutdown line/D-pair against.
How many thousand dollars for the pizza nachos?
Lazy, Jason. Lazy.
What are you saying, Jon? I’ve got this ringing in my ear. Can you turn up your volume? I don’t think Jason understood the question. …and Jason is now my sworn enemy. Let the team provide the excitement.
Jon, did you get the candy you wanted, or do we need to leave a flaming bad of dog poop on the Baxter Arena doorstep?
Lawn Guyland! Website says ESPN+. I’m happy, if that’s true.
Focus, Jon. Don’t talk about Bananaball… DO. NOT. LIKE.
What do you mean by ‘on paper’?
I’m still not predicting.
Long Island Hangover… Bridget, don’t tell Jon about the Iced Tea.
Follow you, follow me.
Wait… I have to like you?
