Jason and Jon in the same room. No complaints about audio quality. Now we can complain about audio content. I fear for the neighbors. KNOCK IT OFF, YOU TWO!

Are you experimented? Have you ever been experimented?

Close, but no cigar for the Mavericks.

You certainly did phone it in, last week.

We've won at Denver? Just kidding. Still: Magness is a house of horrors.

At some point we need to move on from moral victories. I get it. To get any points from these last four games is grand. But let's demand more. Shoot for the moon, end up among the stars.

First goal for Denver in the first period Friday -- there was an aura of: buckle up, here we go. It didn't happen. Kudos to Gabinet and the Mavs for staying in that game.

No sustained offense = Bemidji-like effort. As long as we're not giving up goals, we can afford to play this way. But we need to capitalize on those chances we do get. It worked to open the series at Grand Forks. Couldn't quite hold on Saturday against Denver.

Throw the puck at the net, crash the net. Good things happen when you get the puck and players to the net.

No. We are not talking about Corsi and the failed model. Fast forward. Just more proof that statistics are another form of lies.

Jason, are you suggesting the players are trying to not go tape-to-tape? ...and Jon just implied Weiss doesn't always want to score.

Shootouts are an abomination. Get rid of them.

Stewart taking a shootout attempt before Keck.................lol

What are any of those former Denver guys doing now?

Keck's goal happened so fast. Should've been a play of the week. Such a quick release on that shot. Cannot put into words how quickly that went from turnover to goal. That sentence alone was 14x longer than it took.

14 seconds from triumph. Such heartbreak.

If you don't agree the player of the weekend is Isaiah Saville, I will torch both of your houses.

Jon is safe.  Hoping Sparrow can build on this weekend, keep that play going.

Groin? You listened to Lester. Lester is clueless. The shot hit Savvy in the collarbone.

Prokop played a good series, considering he's been in and out of the lineup.

Do not like the popup vendor stands. Get rid of them. Need a dedicated team store. Bad marketing decision. Bad marketing, period.

There are "party rooms" at Holland Ice. Not much, but rooms in the south corners.

Traffic patterns in the building at Baxter are bad. Though, all three homes of Omaha Hockey have had one main entrance. Civic was the best at preventing a crush of people. Baxter is the worst -- because the two entrances are 200 feet apart in the same area. Nobody uses the auxillary exits.

Not having a dedicated team store, in an accessible area prevents browsing, and spontaneous sales. Bad marketing.

    Nobody is listening, Jason.

Easy to get to on campus... (sigh). South end of the Aksarben Campus, or in Aksarben Village proper.

Whatever happened to the jersey raffle?

Jon: You may think you're helping... ;)

Fragmenting... THEY MADE YOU OBSOLETE! :D

Live chats during games! Those were fun.

16 years, and I still haven't been banned. How does THAT happen?

It all comes out, now: Jason and Jolene are Jon and Bridget's stray cats! Or the younger siblings they never wanted around.

Don't be shy Bridget. You've never been afraid to speak your mind before -- why now?

Colorado College started like a house on fire. Have fallen off.

    Yes, international size rink.

Goaltending seems to have faltered for the Tigers. They had high expectations for Ruck. He's disappointed. Matt Vernon -- former Calgary Flames and Detroit Red Wings goalie Mike Vernon's son -- came on to the scene with a bang. He's fallen off, too.

Something to consider about goaltending at CC (and maybe at SCSU) the angles from the olympic sheet to the NHL sheet change, and it takes some time to adjust. I think if Colorado College plays back to back weekends on the same rink size, the goaltending improves. They're coming out of Kalamazoo... I think that's advantage Omaha against the goalies. (But, Omaha's goalies have to adjust as well.)

Can't wait for OWH to write a lengthy article about Wilkie.

Good point. Could be a trap series for Omaha.

Long-standing issue under Kemp was playing to the level of the competition. Not as marked with Blais. But can Gabinet avoid the Kemp tendency?

I predict 0 to 6 points! Just go with the weather-style prediction.

Most of your segments go on forever. Drag. On.

I feel like this podcast... just this week's podcast has gone on for 20 years.

Fair, but some ties against Denver can be built upon.  The team themselves shoots for the moon, they tried to beat Denver.  Not sure that tying them was "ending up among the stars" but was ok.

It can be mind boggling to read some of those stories describing Corsi and crap, interesting though.

Shootouts are an abomination. Get rid of them.

I always feel torn about this.  The purist in me agrees.  Watching NHL shootouts and how they swing so wide and crap is stupid, ungamelike.  In general I agree.  Can be fun though, fun to see how good they are too.

What are any of those former Denver guys doing now?

Gambrell appears to bounce up and down with San Jose, and is NOT a goalie, as was previously thought by "somebody".  Heinen's been a regular with Boston.  Jaillet is in Sweden.  I don't care enough to look up anybody else and don't know how to spell Lukosavegius and he wasn't all that good anyway, just a UNO killer.

Keck's goal happened so fast. Should've been a play of the week. Such a quick release on that shot. Cannot put into words how quickly that went from turnover to goal. That sentence alone was 14x longer than it took.

    I didn't see it, but that's funny.

Haven't been there yet but nobody liked how much room there was on the concourse when the building opened, I don't see how this possibly came to be a solution to their vending sales issue.  An Aksarben store sounds awesome.

That was fun to hear your thoughts Jon on mavpuck.  I miss the good ole days.  Yes people argued, but text is tough.  It's even happened in the new age of mavpuck, people get misconstrued all too easily.  Anonymity doesn't help with that you're right.  I remember going home after games and all sorts of chit chat would happen THAT night.  I probably couldn't do that much anymore, life has gotten busier, as evidence by the fact that I haven't posted in some time.  Was a busy month.

Don't be shy Bridget. You've never been afraid to speak your mind before -- why now?

Agreed.  I don't envy moderators, going to previous discussion mavpuck.

Most of your segments go on forever. Drag. On.

Maybe but it's fun chit chat, I'd probably get carried away too.

    I've NEVER done that. ;)
