Jon’s bold predictions. Praising UNO Hockey players. Jason’s “unique” pick to win the national championship. It’s all in the season 2 premiere...

Who made the decision to renew this show? Damn network executives.

Hype. Hype. Hype. I'll believe it when I see/hear it.

Maddie vs. my niece... let the goaltending battle begin!

    You're old, Jon.

Saville was at Prospects Camp, not Training Camp.

When are you going to do a facebook live of this podcast? Or something in that style, so all of these comments are connected to your topic.

    UMass-Hamster!

Sometimes you can out-score your defensive deficiencies. And sometimes a high-powered offense allows your defense to relax, play under less duress, and that can allow them to play better.

I think Ward's hockey IQ carried his linemates. But chemistry will be a factor.

Granato has the Badgers trending upwards. Do they have goaltending?

Michigan State will be the perennial cellar-dweller in the B1G. Hoping Rohlik can keep the momentum going at tOSU.

ugh... let's not talk about NCAA Regional sites.

Not sure Wisconsin is trending upwards THAT quickly. UMD seems like the safer bet.

Jon, any word on Bridget's Charter Flight O Fun to Portland/Orono?

30th year seniors only exist at Denver and Miami.

Goaltending and injuries killed Western last year. But I'm still not high on them this year. Can't prove they've fixed either issue, yet.

Can't we just hope that UND is down forever?

SCSU's psyche won't be affected... until the NCAA's again. Need to exorcise that demon. Yes, Hrenak is back.

Ambitious, Jon. I like your hope. But what's the basis? You don't think the frosh will need to find their legs? Confidence -- it was lacking last year.

The further we get from the Blais years -- the fewer Blais recruits we have, the less we will hear about guys 'buying in' and knowing they were here because they fit the system.

Exactly how many NHL players came out of the Blais years? Is it more than the Kemp years?

USHL Goalie of the Year, and almost as many defensemen as forwards... building from the net out. Defense first. Sounds like we're closer to wanting to win 1-0, 2-1 than 8-5.

Success this season is defined by beating the Pioneers. We can go 0-for-the rest of the season... just beat Denver. Once.

Can't mention BCHL talent without a reference to Alex Nikiforuk.

I'll be interested to see all the freshmen on Monday. From there, I hope to be able to single out players. Really interested to see who all takes faceoffs against Manitoba.

Veteran defensemen help. Think the year we had Krischuk, Eickman, and Knapp leading as seniors.

How long did it take Bergeron to turn Bowling Green around?

I'm with Jon. This should be the first true Gabinet team. Full bore next year.

No excuses. You make time on Tuesday to podcast. Or Monday after the game.

    Woot! A shoutout!

Beat Denver, SCSU, UMD. Once each. Gabinet and I talked about it. Same page. Great minds. And, shellack ASU.

It will be interesting to see how good ASU is this year without Daccord in goal.

Mistake made on podcast, as Jason called it......Denver would not be good with Dylan Gambrell in net, he was a forward.
