Kucharski is on the Richter Award "Watch List":

This is an interesting question.
The team is 4-2 with Simon in net. They are 5-7-2 with Kucharski.
Latkoczy has a .899 save %. Kucharski has a .904.
Latkoczy has a 2.4 GAA. Kucharski has a 2.8 GAA.
The stats between the two are very close. I'm kinda with Jim here that maybe it is time to give Latkoczy the Friday start to change things up.
UNO is 4-4 in their last 8. The sweep over Western was great, as was the split at Denver. Getting swept at CC and splitting with St. Lawrence in Omaha were head scratchers (I do think Lemay is more important to this team that we might have initially realized).
I mean, who knew we'd go 3-1 against the #4 and #12 teams in the nation, but go 1-3 against CC and SLU.
Latkoczy's numbers in juniors were interesting. He had a 2.89 GAA with the Chicago Steel in the 2020-21 season (16 games) and a 3.31 GAA with the Madison Capitols last season (42 games).
But I think he can be a really good netminder for UNO down the stretch.
